A waterproof, radiation-resistant servo motor is a specialized motor designed for extreme environments. It acts as the “muscles” of a robot, capable of withstanding high levels of nuclear radiation while resisting water damage to ensure the execution of precise movements.

Key Features

• Dual Protection Capabilities –  Features both high-level water resistance (typically IP67 or higher) and strong radiation resistance (total dose up to 1 MGy), capable of withstanding high-pressure spray cleaning and nuclear radiation damage.

• All-Specialty Material System-All internal components—including insulation, lubrication, seals, and cables—have undergone radiation-hardening treatment, and the housing is typically made of stainless steel to enhance corrosion resistance.

• Robust Feedback System –Rotary transformers are often used in place of optical encoders. Operating on electromagnetic principles, they offer superior radiation and shock resistance, ensuring reliable position feedback.

• Adaptability to Extreme Environments-Capable of stable operation across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +75°C and under high-impact conditions (e.g., 15G–50G).

• Application Scope- Specifically designed for high-risk scenarios where human access is not possible, such as operations inside nuclear facilities, space exploration, and deep-sea exploration.
