Product Description
The WHEATSTONE Air Cooled Electric Motors. An air-cooled explosion-proof servo all-in-one unit is a specialized drive device that integrates a servo motor and a drive into a single unit, utilizes forced air cooling for heat dissipation, and is designed to be explosion-proof. It primarily addresses the issue of overheating caused by difficulties in heat dissipation from the internal power devices within the all-in-one unit due to its sealed housing, particularly in high-temperature or hazardous environments such as petrochemicals, rubber mixing, and glass and ceramics manufacturing.
Forced Air Cooling—An external explosion-proof fan creates forced convection, reducing the temperature rise inside the housing by 15–20°C, with no derating required in high-temperature environments.
Independent Air Duct / IC416 — Constant airflow ensures no decline in cooling performance even under low-speed, high-torque operating conditions.
High Protection Rating — IP66/IP67, dustproof and waterproof.
Integrated Design — Servo motor and drive integrated into a single unit, eliminating the need for an explosion-proof drive cabinet and saving space and wiring.
Continuous Operation in a Wide Temperature Range — Suitable for high-temperature workshops (40–60°C) and supports the S1 continuous duty cycle.
